MINIMUM CAR RENTAL PERIOD :: |

The minimum rental period is 24 hours from time
of pick-up. Any vehicle rented for less than 24
hours will be charged a full day's rate. |

Additional hours after the minimum period are charged |

Delayed return by more than 3 hours - 1 additional day is charged |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Delayed return by less than 3 hours but more than 1 hour – 1/5th of the rental charge is added. These rates only apply to notified late returns. |

| |
Failure to return the vehicle to the nominated return location – 1 day’s charge |
|

|
|
| |
Hired or dropped off on christmas day and good Friday - ½ of daily rate surcharge |

|
|
| |
Hired or dropped off on any Zambian public holiday - ¼ of daily rate surcharge |

CAR MAINTENANCE DURING EXTENDED HIRE :: |
|
| |
Rates include maintenance and oil. If the rental period exceeds one week then the customer shall on each weekly anniversary of the commencement date of this rental agreement deliver the vehicle to the owner so that the owner may inspect the oil and fluids level. The customer will not be liable for the cost of the inspection or any subsequent repairs and maintenance of the vehicle unless caused or contributed to by the customer; |

EARLY RETURNS |
|
|
The term of hire shall be for the period of time
described in the Agreement. No refund available
if vehicle is returned before date shown on contract.
Otherwise, 48 hours notice must be given by the
customer in order to receive a refund on remaining
days (Exceptional circumstances will be considered
by Shimongola Management) |

|
|
|
LONG TERM RENTALS
|
|
|
Special rates apply for long-term rentals. The minimum
period for a long term rental is 30 days. For more

EXTENSION OF CAR RENTAL PERIOD |
|
|
If you decide to extend your rental period you will
be charged according to the Shimongola rates. |

FUEL |
|
|
Fuel is not included in the rates. The vehicle will
be returned to the owner with the same quantity
of fuel as was in the vehicle when it was received
by the customer |
