To hire, pick and return a car ::

To get a car hire, you need to; |
|

|

1.Be at least 24 years of age |
|
| |
2.Possess a clean Drivers’ licence for at least 1 year |
|
| |
3.Possess a passport (for foreign drivers) |
|
| |
|
|
| |
To make a booking, you need to; |
|
| |
|
|
| |

2.Provide your dates and vehicle specifications |
|
| |
3.Complete our user friendly Application form at your |
|
| |
|
|
| |
To pick up the car, you need to; |
|
| |
|
|
| |
1.Give us details of your preferred pick up point (either chauffer driven or self drive) |
|
| |
2.Complete our user friendly Motor Vehicle Agreement form |
|
| |
3.Complete also the application form if not done before now |
|
| |
4.Inspect the vehicle and or counter check the daily Inspection sheet completed by our staff |

| |
|
|
| |
To return the car, you will need to; |
|
| |
|
|
| |
1.Have arranged this at collection of the car, otherwise, |
|
| |
2.Deliver it to our office or |
|
| |
3.Call us for arrangements on how we would collect the car from you |
|
| |
4.Complete the Motor Vehicle Agreement form |
|
| |
5.Settle your balance |
|
| |
|
|
|
VEHICLE AVAILABILITY ON PICK
UP DAY |
|
|
Online bookings made within 48 hours of the pick
up time may not be honored, please phone in these
circumstances to ensure availability. The vehicle
will be held for up to 2 hours of the booking
time only. |

|
|
|
ONE WAY DROP OFF AND PICK UP / RETURN |
|
| |
One way drop off will be charged at Daily flat rates for outside town e.g. Lusaka Airport to Ndola or Livingstone Airport etc. Local one way drop off will be charged at 1/4th daily rate for a minimum distance of 5km. |

|
|
AIRPORT FEE |
|
|
An airport fee will be charged in the event of
a pick-up or drop-off at the airport
Shimongola reserves the right to substitute similar
models to those stated in the tariff agreement.
Shimongola reserves the right to refuse car rental
in Zambia and/or any other service to any customer
who does not comply with all the above terms. |

|
|
TERMS OF RENTAL CARS IN ZAMBIA ARE SUBJECT TO
CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. |
|
|
All commercial vehicles pay VAT by Law (both tourists
& Local passport holders). |
|
|
|
|
|
CANCELLATIONS |
|
|
Cancellations made within 24 hours of commencement
of hire period will incur a penalty fee of one day’s
rental.
